I probably won't be around very much this week. This saddens me, since I was on such a spectacular roll what with the snowpocalyspse and all my free time. Since I did not use this free time wisely (i.e I watched Friends, Casa Nova and Glee) I have a mountain of work to catch up on. Yes. A mountain. In the mean time, to keep you busy in place of my wonderful wit, I give you Minion, my future cat. Also, a few music videos.

Anatidaephobia is defined as a pervasive, irrational fear that one is being watched by a duck. The anatidaephobic individual fears that no matter where they are or what they are doing, a duck watches. Basically, I'm trying to let all of you know that THE DUCKS ARE WATCHING. And they have a plan. I'm serious. You think I'm joking? The next time you feel the hair raise up on the back of your neck, it's the ducks. When a plot to take over the world has been foiled? The ducks. When you run out of hot water? THE DUCKS!!!
I'm not really sure where I was planning to go with this post. It's almost two o'clock in the morning. I have another snow day tomorrow. And, apparently, the snowpocalypse part deux is supposed to start around two in the afternoon. Are we afraid, ducks? Yes. We are. Your ability to control the weather and keep us locked in and starved of intellectual stimulation is dastardly and cruel. But we will prevail! Even if you are watching!
(Just to be clear, I'm not always this crazy...)

I was supposed to post yesterday, but running around crazily in the snowpocalypse and going to a Super Bowl party pretty much drained me. I never knew hanging around people who screamed at every play would make me want to vomit so fully. In fact, just thinking about it makes me a little queasy.
The snowpocalypse is over (or so they say) but it's effects are long felt. For example, it's 12:30 pm and I'm still in my pajamas about to make breakfast. That is the best sort of long felt effect, in my opinion.
Because I plan on giving you another post later today, I will cut this one short. My stomach begs me to go give it nourishment. So, until later!

So far the snowpocalypse has not disappointed. We've gotten eighteen inches of snow! It's like a freakin' playground outside - WE CAN WALK DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET WITHOUT FEAR. The BFFLs and I trekked through the storm to absorb all it's silvery beauty and pretend that we were off to find the Promised Land (i.e. Kogan Plaza which was gorgeous). We threw snow, jumped in snow and generally frolicked in the cold weather. Also - I built a boobilicious, pregnant snow woman. She, if I may say so myself, will attract all the lonely snow men with her luscious curves and come hither smile.
I also found out that I live right next to the lamp post that leads to the magical world of Narnia (see tweet here).
Also (yes, I use 'also' a lot - see, I did it again) I've been invited to vlog with a couple of writerly friends and it looks like fun but I don't know and really, I just need you all's advice. Because I have no clue and I'm thinking about podcasting once a month because, honestly? Who wants to hear my voice and see my face every week? Not even me.
Kara Thrace will be guest posting tomorrow (or so the plan goes) and if you don't know who that is you've been living in a dark, dark hole and really, I don't want to speak to you. Google her. Right. Now. Until tomorrow.
Also - pictures of the amazing and awe inspiring snowpocalypse will be up tomorrow.

Yes, yes it is. I have a ton of food (peanut butter, bread, milk, cheese, pasta, ice cream, everything guys!), two of my best girl friends, and the DVD set for Friends, season 5. We're expecting thirty inches (even though some people are skeptical) and even though it isn't sticking yet, I can say with absolute certainty that I am prepared (and yes Mom, I do have batteries and a radio, just in case).
Because of this, I'm going to have time on my hands, because I will not be out and about socializing in the city. Lots of time. For this reason, I plan to blog and plan blogs and simply carouse all about the inter-webz. I will be doing character advice columns this week (Kara Thrace from BSG will be guest posting, as well as Chandler - assuming he doesn't chicken out). If you guys want to hear specific things from me, have questions that you want me to answer, or any such thing, let me know in comments!
ALSO: what do you think of vlogs? They are popping up everywhere. But no one really wants to hear my voice or see my face...maybe a podcast? Again - let me know! And I leave with you the ageless Frank Sinatra!
